6-7 limes, juiced
1# sweet cherries, pitted
3/4 cup local honey, or to taste.
Blend on high until all the cherry parts are almost too small to see, about 2-3 minutes.
Store in an airtight jar in the fridge overnight.
Next day serve cold as follows: Fill tall glass with ice, pour it half-full of limeade mix, and fill remainder with water or sparkling water. muddle and serve immediately.
This is still a sweet, but has much more in the way of nutrition and less in the way of additives. The natural burgundy color (I used black cherries) is better looking too. It isn’t your usual cherry limeade–it’s better.
